Requirements: A NOVICE bowler is one who has been a member of the USLBA and bowled for
less than two years. Not eligible if a winner of a previous PIMD singles tournament.
Location: Sunnyvale Lawn Bowling Club
Murphy Park at N.Sunnvale and E.California
Date: Saturday, October 2 and 3, 2010
SIGN-IN: 8:45 to 9:00 a.m.
DRAW for Rink: 9:00 a.m.
STARTING TIME: 9:30 a.m.
Format:
Three 18 point games in first day qualifying round. Open Draw.
2 points for win, 1 point for tie. PIMD tie breaker rule.
Top four qualifiers play 18 point Round Robin on second day.
(If only 4 entries, RR play will be completed in one day)
Format may be revised by TD to suit number of entries.
Plaques or trophies will be awarded at Closing Day.
Markers: At least 1 marker for each group of 3 competitors from a club (per PIMD rules).
Please identify volunteer markers with entry. If there are insufficient markers, competitors
may have to mark their own game.
On-site Tournament Director(TD): Joe Shepard, 408/739-5675
Policy: NO SMOKING in the CLUBHOUSES or on the GREENS
No cell phone operation on or near the Greens
Entry Fee: $10.00 (include check made to “PIMD” only, for entry fee)
