In the USA, the sport of lawn bowls is governed by the US Lawn
Bowling Association. This association has an all volunteer slate of
electing officers and councilors. The main forms of communications
with members is through the regions and clubs, through Bowls USA
magazine and via this website. The officers meet in person at least
once a year at their annual board meeting, usually right before the
US Open Tournament. Copies of the approved minutes of the
